Dear colleagues,
First of all, a very Happy New Year 2025 to everybody on the list!
Ying Khai Liew and I have secured scholarship funding for two
joint PhD positions (Universities of Melbourne and Bonn) in comparative trusts law.
One project would be based primarily in Melbourne,
with a 12-month stay at Bonn; the other would be based primarily in Bonn with
12 months in Melbourne. We would jointly supervise both projects, and upon
successful completion students would receive a joint PhD (Melbourne/Bonn). We
are very excited about these opportunities to explore 'Trusts Across the Civil Law/Common Law Divide' in the Asia-Pacific
region and/or within Europe.
Both scholarships
have just been advertised online:
Melbourne-based
project:
Bonn-based project:
Please also find two
flyers attached. We would be very
grateful if you could circulate this information to anyone who may be suitable
and interested in applying for one of the scholarships.
With best wishes
